I agree, I like the smooth skin contrasting with all the other stuff and the lighting. Looking at her right arm, it kinda looks dislocated.

did you try the textbook composition of showing more on the side she's looking at

Actually when shooting I already had it cropped NOT according to the text book, but when behind my laptop I even cropped more to the side she is not looking. And that happened for a reason. To my feeling going against the textbook here works well, because it adds to the imminent feeling she is not just staring at something far far away, but is ready to take on something we don't see, but apparently is happening near her. I guess it goes well with the story I wrote and the pose she took. As such it adds to the tension.

PS. Gosh even I don't understand it the way I wrote it, but I hope you do...
