Patrick Krolis: thanks Suby, the b&w was done with the channel mixer, in this particular photgraph it gave me the best tools ot convert it to my liking still studying the calculations method though!!
I really do like the way you frame your subjects. I would be very happy if I could produce something like this.
Patrick Krolis: Oh Johnny, I do not doubt that you will pretty soon be producing even more dramatic images!!! I find that the trick in this kind of framing is to move around the subject and shoot from all angles looking for that special angle and frame, close by ... further away...a lot of times I find pleasing results by just moving in a bit closer than I at first feel comfortable with, it's strange, but that is how it works for me. Another thing that helps is even though the urge to press the shutter is high at times, I force myself to scan along the frame, I often miss a finger or so in my enthusiasm, so now I really try to force myself in scanning the borders of the frame before pressing the shutter
there is something very alluring about the model and the image Patrick. I really like her expression beautiful but poised to pounce. lovely image. mal
Patrick Krolis: the model is simply fanastic, I do agree with you, a great pity I lost contact with her, she is somewhere out there in the wide wide world. I you ever meet her give her my email adress. Thanks for the compliment!!
