God we feel so evil, making pwoor ole Patrick despair at what likkle ole lovely & nice Suby & Sinem would say
Patrick Krolis: and you two better make sure you keep commenting!!! I want to know it all!!!! I realised there is a price for wanting to be good, today you can't show anything that is less than yesterdays, bt you know we want that vogue cover in the end!!!
After reading your text, Patrick, I started singing "Let's hear it for the [Girls]!" I actually LIKE your work, I don't care WHAT Suby says. But I'm not the magazine scout!
Patrick Krolis: you are so kind Ginnie, and yes Let's hear It For The Girls!! I also like my work most of the time but I know there is bad work, just work, nice work and then there is excellent work. And Suby and Sinem are right, if it were only to just show pictures nothing wrong, but they know what I am after, and as they got a lot closer to the magazines...It's the Magazines that count in this stage So from that perspective only excellent work should be portrait. Yet I started on this blog to experiment and show, to get feedback and to improve, and feedback is what I am getting from all of you, so the improvement should be my part of the bargain
Let's hear it for the boys...aaaah let's give the boys a hand....
I like the pose and the way you've setup the background. Though wondering if it would be good to deliberately blow the highlights in the background, so you get a completely white setting. At the moment, can still see a few litte marks towards the top.
Patrick Krolis: I fully agree with you Duane, this was an experimental setup, actually I improvised a lot, and needed one more light to light the background so I could blow it, but the space and the setup where very limited, just seeing this I know what to get next!! Thanks so much for the comment!!
*blsh* I'm probably the only person who isn't entirely comfortable with the picture, she looks to me as if she's sliding downhill and trying hard to keep herself in place with her foot. I'd have been happier if she'd been looking at the camera too. Don't take any notice of me Patrick, I know nuffink!
Patrick Krolis: Thank you Ellie, keep speaking your mind!! I love it!!
I think I agree with Ellie, in that she does look like she's sliding downhill and I want her to connect more. That said, you caught her face at a beautiful angle for her features.
De nuevo seré crítico, porque creo que es lo que tú quieres. Pienso que si quieres vender la ropa o el vestido de Jo-Ann, éste carece de detalles!
Again I will be critical, because I believe that it is what you want. I think that if you want to sell the clothes or the dress of Jo-Ann, this one lacks details!
Patrick Krolis: tienes razon, no tiens demasiado detalles en los colores oscuros de la tecida.
