In September 2008, I produced my first advertorial. A bodyNsoul Photography production, my largest project until now shooting with a crew of 20 people on location. We produced a 5 page fashion advertorial, featuring full page images.
The story continues with Aby-Jo, enjoying the warm waters of the Suriname river in the soft sun of at the park. The rest of the girls is still on their way. The swimsuit is provided by Whispers.

hello Patrick. Do you mind sharing a tip. when |I shoot in bright sunlight the face of my subject always ends up underexposed, or if I balance for the face the overall picture becomes over exposed. how do you seem to always get the bnalance right all the time?

Patrick Krolis: Actually it's very simple, here is the trick of the trade, I always expose for the sky and make sure I fill in the models face, either with reflectors as in this case or with flash.

Congrats on this Patrick, I remember once doing a shoot with 7 models, lets just say not in a hurry to recreate that, to much hard work (which we secretly love). Keep up the good work

I haven't commented in a while, but have just clicked through your last few posts, and they are all great, like the Lara Croft style ones too!
Patrick Krolis: Thank you very much for the compliments Dan, I myself haven't had very much tome to browse and comment on SC, I guess when you are your own boss, every single minute not devoted to acquiring clients, feels like a stolen minute from your self, That will change though
