Martin from United States 12 Jan 2008, 00:11
Sorry to disappoint, but no complains from me!
Patrick Krolis: smile thanks for your kindness Martin :d

Suby & Sinem from Milton Keynes, UK 12 Jan 2008, 01:45
It's okay, would light no fires in the fashion world smile Good personal portrait though smile
Patrick Krolis: fair enough smile Good does it smile

Suby & Sinem from Milton Keynes, UK 12 Jan 2008, 01:46
God we feel so evil, making pwoor ole Patrick despair at what likkle ole lovely & nice Suby & Sinem would say grin
Patrick Krolis: and you two better make sure you keep commenting!!! I want to know it all!!!! :d I realised there is a price for wanting to be good, today you can't show anything that is less than yesterdays, bt you know we want that vogue cover in the end!!!

Aussie from Brisbane 12 Jan 2008, 04:11
Nice shot Patrick, except her foot looks odd.
Patrick Krolis: Thanks Aussie!! high heels are odd things smile

Nigel Clack from a puddle in Gloucester 12 Jan 2008, 07:56
Same as Aussie and S&S (Ha as if I can say the samesad )
Patrick Krolis: feel free to say the same Nigel smile apreciated!! smile

Ginnie from United States 12 Jan 2008, 07:56
After reading your text, Patrick, I started singing "Let's hear it for the [Girls]!" smile I actually LIKE your work, I don't care WHAT Suby says. But I'm not the magazine scout! smile
Patrick Krolis: smile you are so kind Ginnie, and yes Let's hear It For The Girls!! smile I also like my work most of the time smile but I know there is bad work, just work, nice work and then there is excellent work. And Suby and Sinem are right, if it were only to just show pictures nothing wrong, but they know what I am after, and as they got a lot closer to the magazines...It's the Magazines that count in this stage smile So from that perspective only excellent work should be portrait. Yet I started on this blog to experiment and show, to get feedback and to improve, and feedback is what I am getting from all of you, so the improvement should be my part of the bargain :d

Let's hear it for the boys...aaaah let's give the boys a hand....smile

Tracy from Stoke on Trent UK 12 Jan 2008, 08:58
Very nice pose and I also like the shot Patricksmile
Patrick Krolis: Thank you so much Tracey

blackdog from Great Britain (UK) 12 Jan 2008, 09:19
I like the shot too Patrick - angle of the foot does betray a tension in an otherwise lovely relaxed pose.
Patrick Krolis: Thanks! the eye of a painter!!

Duane Bong from London, UK 12 Jan 2008, 09:30
I like the pose and the way you've setup the background. Though wondering if it would be good to deliberately blow the highlights in the background, so you get a completely white setting. At the moment, can still see a few litte marks towards the top.
Patrick Krolis: I fully agree with you Duane, this was an experimental setup, actually I improvised a lot, and needed one more light to light the background so I could blow it, but the space and the setup where very limited, just seeing this I know what to get next!! Thanks so much for the comment!!

Scarlet from Netherlands 12 Jan 2008, 09:50
I like your work Patrick (agree with the tension in the foot).
Patrick Krolis: I like my work too smile hihi thanks so much Scarlett, now if I could only get the magazines to like the work too smile

Richard Standley from France 12 Jan 2008, 12:32
I like the shot Patrick. Nice pose and lighting
Patrick Krolis: Thanks Richard!!! Thank you very much!!

rags 12 Jan 2008, 20:45
Really cool shot. The lighting makes the tones of her pretty skin pop out.
Patrick Krolis: thanks Rags!!

Ellie from England in the wet 12 Jan 2008, 23:00
*blsh* I'm probably the only person who isn't entirely comfortable with the picture, she looks to me as if she's sliding downhill and trying hard to keep herself in place with her foot. I'd have been happier if she'd been looking at the camera too. Don't take any notice of me Patrick, I know nuffink! wink
Patrick Krolis: Thank you Ellie, keep speaking your mind!! I love it!!

Jewlya from United States 13 Jan 2008, 16:20
I think I agree with Ellie, in that she does look like she's sliding downhill and I want her to connect more. That said, you caught her face at a beautiful angle for her features.
Patrick Krolis: thank you so much!!

Black Pearl from On the Internet 13 Jan 2008, 23:47
Good shot. But I kinda think that it would be nicer if there was some eye contact.
Patrick Krolis: hmmm, could have been indeed...

José-Angel from Catalonia 23 Jan 2008, 00:07
De nuevo seré crítico, porque creo que es lo que tú quieres. Pienso que si quieres vender la ropa o el vestido de Jo-Ann, éste carece de detalles!

Again I will be critical, because I believe that it is what you want. I think that if you want to sell the clothes or the dress of Jo-Ann, this one lacks details!
Patrick Krolis: tienes razon, no tiens demasiado detalles en los colores oscuros de la tecida.
