A photograph of a photograph I made. I photographed Nadine for Ed Lee, the editor of UNITED Magazine. United is a Surinamse production by Ed Lee, which is sold in Suriname and the Netherlands. Nadine is a good friend of mine, we had fun shooting this cover.
The magazine was published around th 30th aniversarry of the Surinamese independence in the last quarter of 2005. Hence the national flag theme we explored.
Yes, that is the Surinamese flag, as you already know since it is depicted by my name on the about page and on the all photoblogs listing.
The money that is swirlng aound her had to do with the cover article which literally can be translated as "Your first Million, how do you do that". The money depicted are 20 Surinamese Dollar bills. 2 of them were added with photoshop fr this cover. When I post the original image you will see the difference.

Patrick Krolis: thank you very much Suzanne, I ust say I was very proud to see the magazine on the stands, even my son of 7 years kept telling everybody "hey, my dad did that picture, it seems that it has been one of the best selling editions of the magazine

I did see the original as well- but I think it's cooler that the already awesome shot got recognition hence my commenting on this shot and not that one. =)
