Hey Patrick, one question for you, are you shooting from a tripod or is it hand held ? just curious.
Patrick Krolis: handheld Johnny handheld. See the speed at which I shot? 1/125 easy shot for handheld. Shooting with the flashheads gives me the speed to be able to shoot handheld. Most of the times the tripod is somewhere nearby, but I seldom use it. I find it limits my creative sparks while shooting. However, sometimes I have just the "perfect" composition in mind. in those cases I put the camera on the tripod, and start composing.

Patrick Krolis: when there is darkness, light is much more valued. photography means writing with light. this is what I am trying to achieve here.

I don't normally comment on nude/glamour shots as I feel they usually get too much attention for the wrong reasons. This however is worthy of merit. The lighting is exquisite and I really like the overall composition. For once a shot of a woman is deserving of being so high in the list of blogs.
Patrick Krolis: Thank you very much Simon. Coming from one of the first people on my buddy list I really apreciate your compliment. I do shoot a lot of nudes, but nudeness is just one aspect of my photography. I would like pople to focus on my use of light. that is what I am aiming for. Yesterdays shot was not about nudeness and I loved the comments about my use of light as much as I appreciate that you noticed the light before you noticed the nudeness and was willing to leave a comment. Thank you very much.
PS. your shot of yesterday, that tree, is exquisite. too bad I seem unable to excell at that type of photography
