Patrick, I feel to say that this photo does not seem yours. As well as the great majority of your images transmits some thing, this one, to my, personally, does not say anything to me.
Patrick Krolis: Thank you Jose-Angel. I know this is a bit out of my typical trademarkshots. But you will agree with me that one can only go beyond what he knows by trying to explore new boundaries. In most of my images light, darkness and the balance between the 2 is my major strenght. In this photograph I try to focus solely on the creative angle and the composition. Thanks for commenting.

Hiya Patrick. Now this does not look like one of your trademark shots, although the creative use of the angle does point to you. I would have liked to see the hand in focus also and would have been tempted to move slightly to the right, if I had been taking the photo, just to take out the paving. Apart from that, it is a very good photograph. Kind regards, Neil.
Patrick Krolis: wink I clearly went out of my known territory here. Everybody seems to notice. What I particularly find interesting in your comment is that you still found some hint (in the use of the angle) that you could link to me. As with the pavement and the hand, Actually I would have preferered both blurred, with mnore focus on the eyes. Maybe I should try that in PS and see what it would have looked like if I had used less DOF.

ik vind deze opname wél iets hebben

beetje provocatieve blik en houding-uitnodigend-koel erotisch

smile
Patrick Krolis: Hartelijk dank Johan. Klaarblijkelijk heb ik voor anderen toch niet het gewenste resultaat bereikt. Maar genoeg reden om het te blijven proberen wink

compromising with the backgroung.
Head of the model is too close to the lense, so it looks bigger than rest of the figure, looks unbalanced.
Patrick Krolis: Thanks for commenting holysmoke. You just described the effect I am trying to create here. I want you to be in contact with the model in an "in your face" way. Actually I should have less DOF to accentuate the feeling. The so-called unbalance is created here on purpose aas a way of getting the viewer closer to the model.
